Adjustable gas struts provide controlled lifting assistance with the ability to reduce the force to suit your application.
Adjustable Force Gas Struts
Kudas Parts adjustable gas struts are designed for applications where the required force may need to be fine-tuned. They are suitable for machinery, access panels, storage systems, automotive applications and custom projects.
The internal pressure can be reduced using a 2mm Allen key, allowing the strut to be adjusted to suit the application.

Adjusting the Force
The force can be reduced gradually using a 2mm Allen key. Adjust the pressure in small increments and test the strut within the application.
Access the Valve
Locate the adjustment valve on the gas strut.
Reduce Pressure
Use a 2mm Allen key to release pressure gradually.
Test
Check the strut movement and lifting force.
Fine Tune
Repeat the adjustment until the required force is achieved.
Measuring Your Gas Strut
For replacement struts, measure from the centre of one end fitting to the centre of the other. For new applications, measure between the mounting points to determine the required extended length.
